Introduction to Our SECURiTE Heavy Duty Storage Cabinets

Industrial Storage Cabinets are used in various types of environments to safely store flammable and combustible substances. Common examples include petrol, diesel fuel, kerosene and oil-based paints. At Team Systems New Zealand, our selection of flammable liquids cabinets can help prevent and contain fire hazards, as well as other dangers to your workplace. By choosing one of our fireproof storage cabinets, you can ensure that all employees can work comfortably and productively knowing that they are safe.

Storage Cabinet Industrial Uses

Given that a large number of industrial environments use hazardous substances, it follows that fire safety cabinets are also used in these environments. They commonly function as warehouse storage cabinets, factory storage cabinets, power station storage cabinets, laboratory storage cabinets and more. Regardless of the environment you work in, we have a flammable goods storage cabinet for you.

What to Consider When Choosing an Industrial Storage Cabinet for Your Workplace

Before choosing one of our Securite flammable liquid storage cabinets for your workplace, it is important to be aware of how our different models of storage cabinets can affect how they are used. At Team Systems New Zealand, we have 100L Flammable Liquids Cabinets160L Flammable Liquids Cabinets and 250L Flammable Liquids Cabinets available for purchase. Not only are the capacities different for each of these combustible goods cabinets, but they each have a differing number of shelves; 1 shelf, 2 shelves and 3 shelves respectively. By being aware of these differences, you can have the right storage cabinet for your workplace.

Safety Features of Our Storage Cabinets

All of our Securite flammable liquids cabinets are equipped with a variety of features that ensure any hazardous substances stored inside are protected and secure. Each storage cabinet is constructed with 1.2mm double-walled steel with 40mm of insulating air space for fire resistance and reliable protection of your flammable substances. They also have ventilation ports with flash arrestors on each side, as well as three-point stainless steel bullet latching. Additionally, convenience and security are at the forefront with these storage cabinets as the flush door mount handle is lockable, an optional padlock is accepted and screw-in feet can be adjusted to any ground surface regardless of if it is flat or even.

Furthermore, the galvanised and heavy duty shelves featured in these flammable goods cabinets safely direct spills to the back and bottom of the cabinet, and there is an integral spill containment sump with a drain and suspended perforated floor. These are particularly useful in the event of a spill or leak. These storage cabinets also have two sequential self-closing doors with adjustable hydraulics and a grounding wire point to avoid a static discharge. Lastly, each combustible goods storage cabinet is equipped with relevant safety signs and manufacturer labels, and they all comply with Australian Standards AS 1940-2004.

Precautions You Can Take to Preserve Your Safety When Using Our Storage Cabinets

Even with all these safety features, there are a few additional measures you can carry out to further ensure your workplace is safe and secure. Before filling your flammable liquid storage cabinet with any hazardous substances, check whether or not they could react negatively together if there is a leak. To prevent a violent chemical reaction, securely segregate incompatible substances in separate storage cabinets. Furthermore, it is important to also think about the environment you intend to store these harmful goods in. Since temperature, light and moisture can have a negative impact on some of your materials, it is vital that you store substances that can be influenced by these conditions elsewhere.
